It's been a hot second since I did one of these posts so not entirely sure what to say. I don't know whether or not I've had a chance to even explain the new place I'm living now.
Pozzuoli is a suburb of Napoli--as close as sister missionaries are allowed to live whoot whoot! Lots of people ask whether I like Siracusa or Pozzuoli better and the best way to explain it is that they are not even on the same line of comparison. Siracusa is very Greek and Pozzuoli is as Italian as you can get.
Another cool thing about this area is that it's a half-American half-Italian ward so translation is a big thing here. It's been pretty nice though to have American food every now and then. This was especially awesome at Thanksgiving.
The other thing about this area is that we have a million and a half things to do for pdays. There's never a dull moment which is partially why I haven't had a chance to write! So sorry.
La belezza
Since moving here I've had quite a few adventures.
I've been to Napoli many times, Caserta, Salerno, Procida, Ischia, Sentiero degli Dei, Pompeii and even an escape room!! I definitely feel well traveled now. And something that I'm always in awe of how beautiful this country is. Check the photos
(Whichever other pretty photos from all the things you want to include)
Consecrated Missionary
My big lessons these last few months have come in my quest to be a more conescrated missionary. It's hard to put everything in words but for any upcoming missionaries I would highly recommend reading "Becoming a Consecrated Missionary" by Tadd R. Callister and "the 4th missionary" by someone else. Taught me a lot for sure about who I want to be as a missionary.
The Work
There's a lot going on all the time. We found a friend and put her on date to get baptized and then she decided not to right before Christmas. That made the holidays a little difficult but me and Sorella Lunt came out stronger than ever. We both ridedicated ourselves to the work at the beginning of January and we've seen miracle after miracle after miracle. It's been amazing. I love the mission. I'm sorry this blog post is disappointing, unfortunately I have no more time. I love you all and if you want to hear more about my life start checking out the weeklies!
Keep on keeping on
