The Dog Days of Summer

This blog post is going to be short and sweet because not much has been happening around here. Also apologies for the late post, I got mixed up because Lanie's p-days don't coincide with our blog schedule. Without further ado...

I had a great time with my family at Bear Lake where we rented jet skis, hung out on the beach, and got a wicked sunburn. My shoulders are currently peeling so yay for that.

I've also been becoming more involved with my YSA ward which has been fun! I've gone to a BBQ and game night and am going bowling tomorrow. Oh, so the first time I attended the YSA ward I got a call from a member of the bishopric after church welcoming me to the ward. AND ASKING ME TO SPEAK THE NEXT SUNDAY. *sigh*. I think it went well overall though so that's good.

Another thing that has been occupying my time is editing my vlogs! A few weeks before college, and all throughout freshman year I took vlogs of my freshman experience so I wouldn't forget anything. I've been having a great time adding a title to the vlogs and cutting out all the junk words and boring details.

Also, I am going to be a TA in the fall! Apparently one of my teachers recommended me to this lady and the lady reached out to me and offered me the job. It's great pay and will be great for my resume. So that's fun!

I CANNOT believe how fast summer has flown by. I just got an email with all of my new roommates names and phone numbers so I contacted them and we've sent a couple (very brief) texts back and forth. AGHHH I'M SO NERVOUS TO GO BACK TO BYU. AGGHHHHH. I've never been a big fan of change so this is freaking me out. But I'm just going to trust the process. Here I come BYU!!
