New Experiences

Sitting down to write this, I feel like so much has happened. I think I’ve aged months since the last blog post and learned so much about myself.

Continuing my Europe trip, I went to London!! It was absolutely incredible. I loved Italy and it was the best place I’ve ever vacationed at, but I feel a connection with London. I would absolutely love to live there one day. We watched a bunch of shows on the West End and had a tea party. I am absolutely in love.

Then I got home and when I went to church that next Sunday I bore my testimony and really stumbled over my words. I felt really, really bad about myself and I’ve been trying to build back up my confidence. This month has taught me a lot about how confidence fluctuates, but you have to know that it’s going to get better. One failed conversation doesn’t make you a failure or not a worthwhile person.

Anyways! On a lighter note, the next day I went to a Fourth of July pool party. Met a cute British summer sales boy… went on a group date to Top Golf… went on a few more dates… had my first kiss…

We aren’t exclusive and I’m on a two week trip to San Fransisco with family, so I don’t quite know where we stand. I really like him though, and we’ve had a lot of fun together. I still have trouble talking to boys (you guys already know haha) but we’ve had a lot of great conversations. I’m trying not to get too invested, but he is really awesome.

So now I’m on the road to San Fran. We’ve had so many good memories there as a group, and I’m excited to go back. I’d be lying though if I said I wouldn’t rather be in El Paso right now though hanging out with my friends and that cute guy.
